Among them, there are 23 basic geology projects, 111 metal-metalloid mineral resource exploration projects, and 10 energy mineral resource exploration projects.
According to Chinese media reports, the projects have three general characteristics, one of which is to focus on strategic mineral resources, and to expand the settlement and underground prison in the southern regions of East Turkistan.
According to reports, in 2025, the autonomous region's government will focus on supporting the geological prospecting project of oil, natural gas, shale gas, coal seam gas, iron, manganese, chromium, copper, gold, and other mineral resources, as well as tungsten, molybdenum, and other superior mineral resources. . By region, there are 16 species around the Altai Mountains, 60 species around the Kuenlon Mountains and Golden Mountains, 27 species around the Tarim Basin, 29 species around the Tiyar Mountains and Beishan Hills, and 12 species around the Junggar Basin. Among them, the number of projects in the southern region of East Turkistan is 87, which is more than 60% of the total number of projects.
According to reports, the Chinese authorities have started bidding for the project in the so-called [autonomous region] Government Affairs Service and Public Resources Business Center. The bidding will be completed at the end of October, and the technical preparation of the first stage of field construction will be completed before the end of December.
Officials in the natural resources supervision of the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region" said that East Turkistan is rich in mineral resources and has huge potential. There are 153 types of minerals discovered and 103 identified resource reserves. East Turkistan's resource reserves account for 88% of China's resources. and occupies 63%. The identified resource reserves of 77 mineral resources are among the top ten compared to other Chinese provinces. China, the world's largest energy consumer, is mining and plundering East Turkistan's many valuable underground and surface resources, including gold, platinum, silver, uranium and coal, in addition to oil.
Observers say that China is using the resources from East Turkistan only to meet its own needs, and the people of East Turkistan, who are the real owners of so many natural resources, have not received any benefits. China is continuing the genocide crime, and at the same time, it is looting East Turkistan's resources on a large scale using advanced technologies. It is reported that the scale of looting has been expanded.
