China is expanding its assimilation and brainwashing campaigns under the guise of "directly delivering cultural resources to villagers," as part of its sinister plan to fully Sinicize East Turkistan.
According to a report by Tengri Tag on March 26, the resolution of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Communist Party of China Central Committee specifically emphasized "establishing a mechanism for direct delivery of high-quality cultural resources to villagers."
Since the 18th CPC National Congress, China has consistently emphasized policy phrases such as "committing to consolidating awareness of the common Chinese identity as the basic principle, educating people through culture, and expanding the scope." In 2021, China launched the "Pomegranate Seed" Small Cultural Service Teams Project in East Turkestan and the project to establish demonstration points based on the "Great Village Cultural Square." Currently, a total of 598 demonstration points based on the "Great Village Cultural Square" have been established in East Turkistan.
In 2024, China also established a series of museums, squares, and palaces in East Turkistan, including the Intangible Cultural Heritage Building and the Western Qorqeji Beg Court Museum. It also opened 110 public libraries, 117 cultural buildings, 58 fine arts buildings, and 1,130 cultural centers throughout East Turkistan. More than 46,200 public cultural activities were organized.
However, consistent with China's genocidal crimes in East Turkistan, all of these institutions and organized activities, established with huge budgets and meticulous planning, are used to impose Chinese culture, distort the history and culture of the Uyghurs and East Turkestan, and promote various Chinese brainwashing policies.
Since the beginning of China's occupation, China has suppressed the people of East Turkistan under various pretexts. In recent years, during its overt genocide, it has implemented a Sinicization policy under the guise of "ethnic integration and fusion, and promoting awareness of the common Chinese identity."
Observers point out that despite international condemnation and some sanctions for China's genocidal crimes in East Turkistan, it continues its crimes. In addition to denying its crimes, it attempts to justify them and deceive the international community through various malicious means and pretexts.
