China Continues to Commit Uyghur Deportation Crimes

Social Media Reveals Continued Forced Deportation and Labor of Uyghurs by China

Social media videos have exposed China's persistent terror policy of deporting and forcing Uyghurs into compulsory labor.

Recent videos show local officials in a village in East Turkistan holding a special ceremony for Uyghurs being deported to China, with individuals wearing red caps, adorned with flowers, standing in rows preparing to be transported.

China has attempted to disguise these actions, claiming they are not forced labor but efforts to improve people's livelihoods, suggesting the deportees are voluntarily leaving their homeland.

The videos depict deportees as young and middle-aged men and women, all carrying identical suitcases and belongings.

Another video shows Uyghurs being forced to labor in harsh winter conditions, clearing and leveling roadside ditches. Social media reports indicate China arbitrarily conscripts Uyghurs for extremely demanding labor tasks.

For years, China has committed ethnic cleansing by simultaneously imprisoning Uyghurs in detention camps on various pretexts and deporting young people to other regions under the guise of "employment assistance" and "poverty alleviation," subjecting them to forced labor.

According to the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), between 2017-2019, China deported approximately 80,000 Uyghurs from detention camps, forcing them to work in factories in East Turkistan and Chinese provinces. The report cites Baidu job postings that depict Uyghurs as comparable to slaves or criminals.

Currently, due to other countries' continued silence and maintaining robust trade relations, the forced labor of Uyghurs persists, with forced labor products continuously flowing into Asian and European markets.
