China bans Intel and AMD chips in state-owned computers

The Chinese regime has issued a new notice banning the use of chips from Intel and AMD in its computers.
The Voice of America reported on March 24, quoting the news of the British "Financial Times," that China's new guidelines for purchasing computers and servers indicated that chips made by American companies such as Intel and AMD will be phased out in China's official computers and servers. In addition, China also plans to reduce purchases of Microsoft's Windows operating system and database software made by foreign companies.
According to the Financial Times, the Chinese regime has ordered companies to use Chinese-made hardware and software. If the relevant guidelines are fully implemented, it will not only be a huge project, but foreign companies, especially Intel and AMD, will lose a lot of market.
The relevant notification requires that the CPU, operating system, and database software must meet the "reliability and security evaluation standards" when purchasing desktop computers for parties, government agencies, and directly governed agencies and departments in China at the township level or above.
Along with the announcement, the Chinese regime released a "reliability and security assessment standard" that lists CPUs, operating systems, and central database software as products of Chinese companies.
