The EU has begun investigating China's steel products

The EU has launched an anti-dumping investigation into Chinese steel products.
According to the May 17 news of France International, after the EU Steel Industry Association filed a complaint about China's market manipulation, the EU Commission, which oversees the trade policies of 27 member countries, started an investigation against China's dumping behavior.
According to the report, one of the main allegations in the complaint is that Chinese producers benefited from the manipulation of raw material prices. The European Steel Industry Association has introduced the investigation as an important step towards restoring fair competition. European steel sales have fallen by a quarter over the past three years, but Chinese imports to Europe have more than doubled.
According to the France Press Agency, May 20 is "World Bee Day," and France's main agricultural union has called for honey imported from Asia, especially China, to be removed from supermarkets.
The French National Agricultural Trade Union, the largest agricultural trade union organization in France, said in a statement on Friday: "Most of the honey produced in China is imported to France at low prices, which is four times cheaper on average than honey in Europe. This situation has destabilized the entire market, created unacceptable and distorted competition for beekeepers in France and deceived consumers with all kinds of excuses.
According to the results of the investigation published by the European Union Commission in March 2023, after examining 320 samples of honey imported into the European Union, it was found that the factories used various means, such as adding sugar syrup, to reduce the production cost of honey, and violated the rules of the European Union. About 74% of honey produced in China has this problem.
