Since China began carrying out a systematic genocide in East Turkistan, it has increasingly reduced the number of puppet officials, and two high-ranking Uyghur officials have resigned.
According to Chinese media reports, some officials were replaced at the 15th meeting of the so-called "Standing Committee of the 14th People's Congress of the Uyghur Autonomous Region".
The report stated that the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region Government" vice president Mardan Muqiyet and the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region's 14th Standing Committee of the People's Congress" Secretary General Mutallib Rosi have received certificates. Instead of Mardan Muqiyet, the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region Public Security Supervision" was appointed as the scientific vice president.
According to Chinese media reports, Mardan Muqiyet is currently appointed as a member of the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's team. The former puppet chairman of the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region Government," Noor Bekri, left his post as chairman at that time, moved to China, was appointed secretary and head of the China Energy Bureau, and was arrested a few years later on the pretext of "violation of discipline."
Since China's occupation of East Turkistan, it has selected some puppet officials from Turkic peoples such as Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and other Turkic peoples, but in recent years, in line with the crimes of systematic genocide, it has begun to purge and reduce the number of many high-ranking Uyghur officials. In this meeting, the resignation of two high-ranking Uyghur officials and the appointment of a Chinese official who played an important role in suppressing the Uyghurs as vice president indicate that the situation in East Turkistan is getting worse.
