China's "secret police station" in Canada raises panic

Canadian Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino said China could have more "secret police stations" in Canada.
According to Voice of America, Canada's Minister of Public Safety, Marco Mendicino, told reporters, on May 14, that China may have set up more "secret police stations" for citizens in Canada. He stated that a few months ago, the Canadian police were threatened by two unidentified groups of people of Chinese descent in Montreal, and an investigation was launched into their identity.
Secretary Mendicino also stated that he believed the RCMP would take special measures to stop any foreign interference citizens might encounter by China's "secret police station," and that they would certainly crack down on it as Chinese police stations continued to be exposed.
Earlier this month, it appeared that despite the Canadian media announcing that Minister Marco Mendicino would shut down the entire "secret police station" system in Canada, Chinese police stations are everywhere, many of them yet to be discovered.
On the other hand, the Chinese authorities deny the accusations, claiming that they do not interfere in the internal affairs of Canada.
