Banning Islamic names in East Turkistan

In East Turkistan, which is under Chinese occupation, it has become known that any manifestations that indicate national or Islamic values are classified as "illegal religious activities" and considered "extremism". International reports have documented the detention of millions of Uyghurs in detention camps and prisons based on these charges.
However, the Chinese regime, which has closed its doors to the outside world for years and isolated itself from the international community, is practicing brutal repression against the Muslim people there, and is trying to mislead public opinion through false propaganda in order to hide its inhuman crimes.
New documents monitored by the "Istiqlal" channel (East Turkistan News Agency) confirmed that Uyghurs are being forced to change the names of their children, especially after the start of anti-religious policies in the Chinese media that targeted Islam and cultural values. It was confirmed that Uyghur parents are forced to publish official advertisements in newspapers to change the names of their children, which shows the extent of the repression practiced by the Chinese regime.
PARENTS ARE FORCED TO CHANGE NAMES
Forcing parents to change the names of their children is evidence of human rights violations and cultural pressure. The publication of new names with ID numbers and addresses in advertisements reflects the extent of the policy of intimidation and terror imposed on the people.
CONTINUED PRESSURE ON THE UYGHURS
Millions of Uyghurs are still being held in detention camps and prisons on the same charges, and the world still does not know their fate. These people are being targeted simply for trying to preserve their Islamic identity and cultural values, and they live under the constant threat of genocide and forced change of their Chinese identity.
