In 2001, Gulzohra Abaidullah, who ran for 17 days in a row, was awarded the Order of Achievement by the Kazakh Uyghur Cultural Association.
The awarding ceremony was held at the East Turkistan Cooperative Society in Zeitinburni on September 24, and the ceremony was organized by the chairman of the Women's Affairs Department of the East Turkistan Cooperative Society, Mrs. Mizangul Awamosimova, vice president of the Kazakhstan Uyghur Cultural Association, and president of the Janan Foundation, Mrs. Gulzohra, who was presented with the Order of High Achievement, which is given to employees who have made special contributions to work in Kazakhstan.
Ms. Gulzohra used to practice rifle shooting, which is one of the archery events, at the Kashgar Sports School. In 2001, he showed his indomitable spirit by running across the Teklimakan desert in 17 days, and his achievement was included in the Guinness Book of World Records. Because of this, she is popularly known as "the girl of the desert.". Ms. Gulzohra later worked as a physical education teacher and achieved certain success in this field.
The writer Abulhashim Qasim recorded it and wrote the book "Teklimakan Melikisi Gulzohra Abaidullah," and recently the Turkish version of this book was published with the help of Zeitinburnu district government.
