An American consulting company withdrew from China

The American consulting company Gallup announced its withdrawal from China.
Reuters reported, on November 4, that the American consulting firm Gallup, ended its operations in China. The Washington, D.C.-based company has notified its customers that it will close its offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
It is unclear whether Gallup will retain its locally recruited staff. The company provides research and analysis services for the marketing services of other companies.
It turns out that Gallup began its operations in China in 1993 and has offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
Company officials did not immediately respond to Reuters ' questions about the reasons for the withdrawal from China. In recent years, the Chinese regime has increased censorship of foreign companies and increased various restrictions, which has led to a large number of foreign companies withdrawing from China.
