President of the International Association of East Turkistan Organizations and Chairman of the East Turkistan Education and Cooperation Association, Yehidullah Ozekhan issued a statement on the slander of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On August 9, China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a so-called report entitled "The Acts and Real Faces of the US National Endowment for Democracy."
The report alleges that the US government is trying to overthrow the regimes of some countries, interfere in their internal affairs, and incite separatism through the Foundation for the Advancement of Democracy (NED). In the section related to East Turkistan, he mentioned the World Uyghur Congress, Hidayatullah Oizekhan, and re-launched the "East Turkistan issue is America's game."
The so-called report alleges that the Foundation for the Promotion of Democracy provided funds to the chairman of the East Turkistan Education and Cooperation Association, Hidayatullah Ozekhan, and encouraged him to organize anti-China rallies and use the opportunity to damage relations between China and Turkey.
Yidullah Oizkhan made a statement on August 16, insisting that China's accusations are completely baseless and are slander aimed at discrediting the East Turkistan case. In his statement, East Turkistan Education and Cooperation Association has not received any financial support from any country, political power, or foreign organization since its establishment. He stated that he has the right to seek help through legal channels.
In his statement, Yidullah Ozkhan stressed that the Chinese regime is still using fake tactics such as blackmailing the defenders of their rights, spreading false information, distorting the truth, and trying to nullify the legality of the East Turkistan case, He also emphasized that the East Turkistan independence struggle will continue with the support of the people.
