On July 18, a presentation ceremony and seminar on the report entitled "Continuing Religious Pressure, Islamophobia, and Attempts to Sinicize Islam in East Turkistan" were held in Istanbul.
The seminar was organized by the East Turkistan Human Rights Watch Association and the East Turkistan Scholars Union, and lectures were given on the religious repression, anti-Islamic policies, and assimilation attempts being carried out by China in East Turkistan.
The seminar began with the recitation of the Qur'an by Abdul Jalil Karihajim, and the general secretary of the East Turkistan Human Rights Watch Association, Abdulahed Udun, and the president of the International Association of East Turkistan Organizations, Yedudullah Oitzkhan, gave opening speeches.

The President of the East Turkistan Scholars Association, Associate Professor Dr. Ulimajan Bugda, said that China is currently implementing an anti-Islam policy in East Turkistan, Muslims in East Turkistan are on the verge of extinction.
Prof. Dr. Ishan Saraiya Sinma, an expert in Islamic history, spoke and said that he wants to understand the problem of East Turkistan more deeply and is working in this regard.
Then Osman Kamil Başoren, Head of External Relations of Turkey Youth Foundation, spoke. He said that he would like to thank the society and individuals who prepared the report, and wished that this seminar would be of great significance in the development of East Turkistan medicine.
Then Muhammad Ali Alioglu from the Syar Foundation spoke and stressed that the problem of East Turkistan has already gone beyond the problem of "religious pressure and Islam hostility" and has turned to a general massacre of religious and ethnic groups. Genocide is currently going on in East Turkistan.
In the first stage of the seminar, researchers and writers such as Ms. Dilara Bastadare, Ms. Feiza Pinar Seom, and lawyer Hamid Aqun, who prepared the report, were invited to the stage. Participants asked the authors questions about the report. The researchers present the report in a scholarly way and provide new information about the genocidal policies that China is implementing in East Turkistan.
In the second stage of the seminar, the president of East Turkistan Scholars Association, Associate Professor Dr. Ulimjan Bugda, Associate Professor Dr. Free Ekram, Professor of Ankara Hajetep University, and Professor Dr. Yasmin Aktay were invited to the stage.
At this stage, China's policies of religious repression, Islamophobia, and the sinicization of Islam in East Turkistan were discussed from a historical point of view and from the point of view of the current situation. They answered questions from attendees about the report.
At the end of the meeting, souvenirs were presented to researchers and experts.
