A response from the chairman of the Palestinian Scholars' Association against the Palestinian President

According to China Central Television, Mahmoud Abbas met with Chinese Premier Li Qiang, expressed support for all China's policies and positions towards Taiwan and Hong Kong, and said about the East Turkistan issue: "the Xinjiang (East Turkistan) issue is never a human rights issue. "Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's description of the oppressed Uyghur people in East Turkistan with terrorism is an incorrect and unjust description and it does not represent our Palestinian people who suffered injustice and faced the oppressors and demanded that all people stand by their side because they are oppressed, our people cannot be with the oppressor against the oppressed.
