A gathering was held to celebrate the Eid in Istanbul

Uyghur migrants around the world celebrated Eid al-Fitr in different ways this year as well. On April 12, a joint gathering of people from East Turkistan was held in the Safakoy district of Istanbul, Turkey.

This event was jointly organized by several associations and organizations, such as the International Union of East Turkistan Organizations, the East Turkistan Scholars Union , the World Uyghur Congress, the East Turkistan Assembly, the Union of East Turkistan Peoples, and others. Thousands of people from East Turkistan participated in it.

At the conclusion of the activities, Eid gifts were distributed to the children participating in the gathering.
