A Uyghur friendship group was established in the US Congress

The Uyghur Friendship Group was officially established in the US Congress, and a ceremony was held in Congress on April 16.
The Uyghur Friendship Group was established at the initiative of the Uyghur Action Organization to effectively combat the crimes of genocide committed by China against the people of East Turkistan, and to try to put an end to Uyghur forced labor, internal organ trafficking, and cross-border repression.
At the construction ceremony of the Uyghur Friendship Group, the president of the Uyghur Action Organization, Ms. Abbas Abbas, gave an opening speech. Then the chairman of the House of Representatives Foreign Relations Committee, Mike Mikkoll, member of parliament and co-chairman of the Uyghur Friendship Group Chris Smith, Tom Suzy, commissioner of the United States Commission on Religious Freedom and board member of the Uyghur Human Rights Foundation, Nouri Turkel, chairman of the Uyghur Human Rights Foundation, Mr. Isa, president of the Uyghur Academy, Abbas, Brian Joseph, a senior official of the Foundation for the Advancement of Democracy, Sophie Richardson, an expert on Chinese affairs, Bremberg, the president of the Victims of Communism Foundation, and Piro Tozzi, the executive chairman of the Chinese Affairs Committee of the United States Congress, spoke.
Camp witnesses in the United States and representatives of the Uyghur Research Center, American Uyghur Federation, Uyghur Academy, and Uyghur Human Rights Foundation participated in the ceremony.
