"Urgent Call: Our Uyghur Brothers' Lives Are in Danger in Thailand

48 Uyghur Turks detained in Thailand are facing the danger of deportation to China! According to information we've received through various channels, there is a very high possibility that the deportation will take place today. If deported, they will face serious human rights violations, torture, and imprisonment.
We call on the Republic of Turkey and especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take urgent action. Time is very limited to stop this humanitarian drama!

The situation of Uyghurs facing deportation to China has been documented by various human rights organizations as particularly dangerous, given the well-documented risks they face upon return.
