In the 2nd International Boxing Match of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) held in Belarus on August 6, Uyghur origin boxer from Kyrgyzstan, Muhammed Aziz Zakiruf, defeated his opponent and won the second place.
The Uyghur boxer, who entered the ring for Kyrgyzstan, reached the final by defeating Turkmenistan and Belarus in the elimination and semi-final rounds.
However, on August 12th, Uyghur boxer Muhammad Aziz Zakiruf came in second place after being defeated by his Uzbek opponent in the 80 kg weight category championship league.
