"Anatomy of the Genocide in East Turkistan!

In commemoration of the painful memory of the 74th anniversary of the Chinese occupation, marking 74 years of oppressive policies, persecution, and genocide in East Turkistan, 74 years of resistance for independence and the defense of Islamic and Uyghur identity, the International Union of East Turkistan Organizations, based in Turkey, in collaboration with several non-governmental organizations, organized a photo exhibition and awareness events titled "Anatomy of the Genocide in East Turkistan" on September 29, 2023, at the headquarters of the National Union of Turkish Students in Istanbul, Turkey, lasting for three days.

On September 30, the second day of the exhibition, two sessions were held: lectures and discussions on the issue of East Turkistan.

In addition, participants expressed the plight of the oppressed people of East Turkistan in detention camps through an exhibition of drawings, paintings, cultural, and artistic works showing the systematic genocide crimes committed by the Chinese Communist authorities against the Uyghur Muslims for many years. There were also exhibition halls portraying the oppression and persecution in East Turkistan.

Furthermore, as part of the event, which was attended by numerous journalists, politicians, academics, and NGO directors, five different exhibition rooms were set up. Participants listened to the real stories and painful facts of many individuals to help them feel and understand the suffering of innocent Uyghurs who lost their family members and endured injustice, oppression, and genocide."
