China announces plan to transform houses built in ethnic Uyghur style

China continues to demolish houses built in the Uyghur ethnic style in East Turkistan under the pretext of "transforming old neighborhoods", and plans to demolish and convert 3,696 more houses this year.

According to the February 8 report of the Tiantag Network, the so-called "Uyghur Autonomous Region" housing and urban development supervision revealed that the Chinese regime plans to demolish and replace 3,696 houses in five regions of Urumqi city this year in the name of "changing old dangerous houses" in East Turkistan.

According to Chinese media reports, since 2010, China has started demolishing houses built in the Uyghur ethnic style in East Turkistan under the name of "demolition and transformation of slum communities". In 2023, a total of 49,662 houses and areas in East Turkistan will be demolished and changed to Chinese style. By the end of 2023, a total of more than 1,797,000 houses in the cities and towns of East Turkistan have been renovated.

The plan to destroy Chinese Uyghur communities is based on residential areas built before 2000, and was implemented in five cities: Urumqi City, Yining City, Aksu City, Kucha City, and Hotan City.

In recent years, the Chinese regime has imprisoned the people of East Turkistan in prisons and concentration camps, forcing them to abandon their Islamic and national values and their culture by various means. They began to forcefully demolish with excuses. China plans to continue to vigorously implement this evil plan this year.
